Made-to-order formats: Tailor-made pricing
PENSAKI made-to-order formats are individually priced, based on the customer’s specifications as we can provide you with over 500 formats. Since our product range is so diverse, there is no fixed price list. The indicated unit prices on this page are only a guideline. Unit costs may be higher for smaller quantities or special configurations. The final price depends on factors such as the quantity, the handwritten text length, the chosen format, and your specific processing requirements.
Our prices include the costs for handwriting, manual quality control, matching, and enveloping (if necessary). All offer prices for our custom formats are net prices, excluding 19% German VAT.
When exporting goods from Germany, we do not issue an invoice with German VAT. VAT is only applicable if the goods either remain within Germany or are sent to a local warehouse or a partner for further processing in Germany.
All handwritten letters can be fully personalized, allowing you to add unique messages to each one. Our standard formats are prepped and ready for global mail delivery as soon as we receive your handwritten messages.
Moreover, if you order at least 250 cards or letters, you have the option to go a step further by customizing your stationery with printed designs before our robots add the handwritten touch. This allows for an added level of personalization to make your communication even more distinctive.
Minimum Order Quantity: Standard Letters (Starting from 5 or 10 Units)
For our standard letters, we offer a minimum order quantity of 5 or 10 letters, depending on the format you choose. You can opt for either 5 or 10 letters, or you can order fewer than five or ten, but you’ll pay the equivalent of the minimum order quantity price. For instance, if you order just one letter, you’ll be charged the rate for 5 letters. The unit price is automatically calculated in your shopping cart based on the quantity you input.

Our PENSAKI custom formats are available for orders starting from 250 or 500 units per order. This means you can access fully personalized formats with a genuine handwritten feel. There are numerous possibilities in terms of formats, text lengths, and processing options to suit your unique marketing needs.
All our standard handwritten PENSAKI letters are sent directly from Germany using Deutsche Post Global Mail. We give these letters to Deutsche Post for worldwide delivery within 3 working days and confirm this to you by email. Once they’re with Deutsche Post, they follow regular delivery times.
For all tailor-made formats, which start from 100 or 250 pieces, different delivery times apply after you approval for the handwritting job. Typically, you can expect it to take about 5-7 German business days from your approval to when they’re sent out. This slight delay is because if we print your postcards or cards with your design, it adds approximately 4-5 German business days to the production process.
This PDF sample shows exactly what we will make and send for you. The print design of the card in the PDF sample may differ from the actual format, but the quality of the handwritten messages and addressing will be exactly the same as the sample.
With our standard options, all you need to do is tell us what you want in your letters, which means you simply send us all the content and we take care of the rest, including sending it by post to all recipients. Each line will be written exactly as in this PDF file and in your chosen handwriting. The design of the paper may vary, but the handwritten message and addressing will look exactly as shown here.
All Pensaki standard handwritten notes are written with our ALEX handwriting style. At Pensaki, we offer a range of handwriting styles for your handwritten notes and cards, starting from as low as 250 pieces. You have the option to choose from our available handwriting styles, including our standard ALEX style. Alternatively, if you prefer a more personalized touch, you can even have our robots mimic your own handwriting style, which we call the VIP handwriting style.
Our standard handwriting styles are provided to all our customers at no extra cost. For orders of 250 letters or more, simply pick a handwriting style for your mailings, and our team will use fountain pens or pens to write each letter or card in that chosen style.

Rest assured, at PENSAK® all your texts and addresses are meticulously crafted in authentic human handwriting. We never resort to using fonts or printing for your messages. Printing handwritten messages would defeat the purpose, as it would lack the tactile experience, rendering it a wasteful expenditure with no opportunity for that delightful surprise and personal touch.
Overall, using robots for handwritten messages offers a practical solution that combines the personal touch of a handwritten note with the clarity and consistency that can be lacking in one’s own handwritten cards.
When you order 250 letters or more, we can create entirely personalized handwritten formats for you. It’s important to note that “individualization” here doesn’t refer to the content of your direct marketing campaign, as all our PENSAKI letters, including our standard ones (starting from just 5 letters), can be fully customized to meet your needs.
We print your cards, you provide the PDF design!
For orders of 250 cards, letters or postcards or more, we can also print the design of your choice before the robots start their handwritten jobs on your cards. During the ordering process, you will receive a corresponding PDF design template for both sides of the format. Once your PDF print data has been submitted, printing takes approx. 3-5 German business days before the robots can start their handriting job for you. After your approval of the provided pre-production proof, it will take approx. 5-7 working days until dispatch.
Our standard letters from the online shop are sent out by Deutsche Post Global Mail. If you order 100 or more letters, we can send them to you in open envelopes using UPS. For custom orders of 250 or more, we’ll decide on how to ship them with you before sending. You can find out how long shipping will take in the information below.
Every PENSAKI standard letter is sent with a Deutsche Post stamp and mailed worldwide through regular mail. This happens after we handwrite and address the envelopes. We usually send them out within 3 business days. When we ship your letters, we’ll let you know by email. Here’s a tip: include yourself as one of the recipients to get a confirmation of delivery.
Our handwritten standard letters are all set up and ready to go, including paper and card choices. You can pick plain white paper for letters or cards with a special PENSAKI design, but they won’t have our name on them. Plus, we make sure all our stationery is eco-friendly and all printed cards have been printed climate neutral.
For these standard options, you just need to add the text and addresses, and we’ll handle the handwriting for you. We use paper without any branding, so it’s like you’re writing the letters yourself.
If you want something more personalized, we can write on letters, cards, or postcards made just for you, starting from orders of 250 pieces. In that case you upload your design as a PDF, based on our template. This helps us cut down on paper transportation, which is better for the environment.
PENSAKI standard cards and letters come fully pre-configured with unique stationery, and their prices cover everything, including postage and global mail delivery through Deutsche Post. The prices also include 19% German VAT, even if you order from Australia, as PENSAKI operates in Germany. In short, the all-inclusive price covers stationery, robot-handwritten texts, envelope addressing, and there are no hidden costs.
At PENSAKI, it’s important to understand that each format comes with specific definition regarding the amount of text you can include in your message along with the necessary addressing of the envelopes.
When we mention “characters including spaces,” we’re referring to the total number of characters allowed for that format. For example, if the limit is 450 characters, it means your message can be up to 450 characters long, including spaces. Additionally, you can use up to 200 characters for addressing the envelopes or postcards.
These restrictions are set based on two crucial parameters: the number of text lines and the maximum number of characters per line, including spaces. These parameters are carefully chosen for each format to ensure that the handwriting remains legible and attractive when written with a fountain pen or ballpoint pen. This ensures that your recipients can easily read and appreciate your handwritten messages, maintaining a high level of quality and personalization in your communication.
With PENSAKI all formats can be completely personalized on a content level.

Otherwise, what would be the point of sending high-quality letters in handwriting without a personal address? None at all! The personalization of salutations and postal addresses is a standard feature for all Pensaki products. All salutations and addresses are conveniently imported, on the basis of our XLS import template. In addition, you can additionally personalize your handwritten messages by using {{segment}}. It is also possible to personalize entire lines with {{segments}}.
Pensaki standard letters have a predefined layout in combination with our ALEX handwriting style. Layout refers to the number of text lines, the maximum number of characters including spaces per line as well as all the line spacing. You simply need to add your messages, we’ve already taken care of everything else. Tailor-made letter layouts are possible from 250 pieces.
The fully pre-configured standard letters of the PENSAKI starter kits are shipped in open envelopes so that you can also enclose a flyer or business card and coordinate the mail delivery directly. The dispatch takes place in a parcel, usually within 5 business days. I.e. within five business days your handwritten letters will be handed over to the courier. You will receive an email notification once your letters have been shipped.
Our PENSAKI starter kits are completely pre-configured, including high-quality blank stationery and envelopes. You only need to add the content of your campaign and we will take care of the rest for you. The letters and cards are ready to order, like all other PENSAKI standard letters in our shop.

You can start this sales campaign immediately and effectively address 250 decision-makers of your choice with a PENSAKI campaign. All PENSAKI letters can be easily personalized. You simply import the data of these 250 prospects. It is also possible to create different text versions and to send more than 250 letters.
The most important components of a delivery note are: 1. what is delivered? 2. how many pieces? It is essential that these two details are noted on the delivery note so that we can allocate the delivery to your order and check that all the ingredients ordered have arrived in full with the delivery. Simply use our template for this.
In order for your shipment to be accepted in the warehouse, it is mandatory that we receive a shipping notification from you in advance by email. For this purpose, simply send us an informal email with the DHL/DPD/UPS shipment number of your shipment.
In the case of our Envelope2S format, the recipient’s address as well as the sender credentials are “handwritten” on the envelopes. The sender’s credentials are written on backside of the envelopes. With 250+ letters different addressing styles are possible.
